Sunwize Technologies single crystal panels are the "work horses" of the industry.

Single cgrystal is the original PV technology invented in 1955, and never known to wear out. Polycrystalline entered the market in 1981. It is similar in performance and reliability. Single crystal modules are composed of cells cut from a piece of continuous crystal. The material forms a cylinder which is sliced into thin circular wafers. To minimize waste, the cells may be fully round or they may be trimmed into other shapes, retaining more or less of the original circle. Because each cell is cut from a single crystal, it has a uniform color which is dark blue.

SW 150 - SunWize Solar Modules deliver top-quality performance for all photovoltaic applications including rural electrification, water pumping, telemetry, communications, and general battery charging. SunWize modules can be used in single-module and multiple-module installations. Each module consists of 36 solar cells connected in series (except the SW90C which is 48 cells in series), providing maximum charging power.

Materials and Construction

The glass surface is impact resistant up to hailstone forces up to 5 ft-lbs.and allows maximum light transmission.
Single crystalline solar cells are encapsulated and bonded to the glass in multiple layers of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and laminated with a white Tedlar™ backing insuring long life in severe environmental conditions.
A weather resistant junction box accommodates all wiring methods including moisture-tight strain relief connectors and electrical conduit. Bypass diodes insure reliable operation.
Duel bypass diiodes contained within the junction box insure reliable operation.
SunWize modules are manufactured in accordance to ISO 9002 standards, ISPRA certified to IEC 61215.

SW 175 - SunWize SW 175 solar modules are made of high efficiency mono-crystalline silicon solar cells. Every single cell is tested and electrically matched to maximize output for commercial and domestic applications.

The solar photovoltaic modules are manufactured according to the strict requirements of international standards. The string is laminated between sheets of ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA) for moisture-free protection, UV stability and electrical isolation.

Low iron, highly transmissive glass is used for strength and high-power output. A high-quality Tedlar (TPT) backing provides mechanical protection and electrical insulation.

Materials and Construction

The laminates are framed with a strong, robust and corrosio-resistant aluminum frame with multiple mounting holes for ease of installation as per the customer’s requirement.
All modules are equipped with bypass diodes so the modules will function even if partially shaded.
Weatherproof – high-resistance to hail, moisture, wind speed and other environmental factors, with the ability to operate in temperatures ranging from -49oF – 203oF (-45oC – 95oC) with relative humidity levels up to 100%.
